Über das Hemd kommt eine Halbversteifte Übergangsschnürbrust (Past Patterns 038), mit der ich nicht so wirklich glücklich bin. Sie passt zwar, aber ich hätte den Stoff doppeln sollen. Hält meine Rubens-Figur leider nicht wirklich gut!
Over the shirt comes a Partially Boned Transition Stay (Past Patterns 038), with which I am not really happy. It fits, but I should have doubled the fabric. The corset holds my Rubens figure unfortunately not really good!

In der Schnittmustersammlung "Regency-Wardrobe" von La Mode Bagatelle findet man ein Bodiced Petticoat, das ich aus Baumwoll-Satin gemacht habe. Hinten wird es mit Wäscheknöpfen verschlossen und ist am Saum mittlerweile mit Biesen verziert.

Darüber kommt eine Chemisette, auch aus der Schnittmustersammlung. Sie ist aus feinem Batist genäht.

Obendrüber das Kleid aus fein gestreifter Baumwolle (Tageskleid 1809, Period Impressions 460). Es ist mir "obenrum" ein bißchen zu groß, mit der Chemisette geht es aber ganz gut.
Finally the dress of finely striped cotton fabric (Day Dress 1809, Period Impressions 460). It's a little too big in the upper part, but with the Chemisette it fits pretty good. |

Komplettiert wird das Ganze mit einer Wollstola (hab' ich vor vielen, vielen Jahren mal von meinem Mann bekommen), einem Reticule und einer Strohschute.
Jetzt muss ich nur auch mal nach Bath zum Jane-Austen-Festival fahren :-)
Completed is the outfit with a woolen shawl (it was a present from my husband many, many years ago), a reticule and a straw bonnet.
Now I just need to visit the Jane Austen Festival in Bath someday :-) |
